K metcalfe heritage  .  WHO AM I

I am Katharine Metcalfe, an experienced Heritage professional.  I have spent 22 years in heritage conservation; 15 years working in local planning authorities as conservation officer before leaving to pursue life in the private sector.  I have a passion for integrating the historic environment into modern life and development and see it as an opportunity to create the centrepiece of exciting spaces and places, whilst always being mindful of protecting our important heritage.

I enjoy the challenge of difficult sites and will work with you and alongside other professionals such as planning consultants, architects, ecologists and arborists as required, as well as engaging with the local planning authority at an early stage to ensure the best chance of success for your proposals.
